01 / Introduction

What is ANVIX Prefabricated Pond Liner?

ANVIX™ Prefab is a factory-prefabricated pond liner solution developed specifically for small to medium-sized outdoor aquaculture ponds.

Unlike conventional pond lining systems that require extensive on-site cutting and welding, ANVIX™ Prefab liners are factory fabricated to the required pond dimensions and supplied ready for installation — helping reduce installation time, on-site labour and dependence on specialised contractors.

Available in selected RPE and LLDPE constructions, ANVIX™ Prefab combines high mechanical strength, flexibility and outdoor durability. Aquaculture-suitable grades can be supplied with UV stabilisation and enhanced tear and puncture resistance for demanding outdoor fish and shrimp farming environments.

By combining factory-controlled fabrication with ready-to-install convenience, ANVIX™ Prefab provides a practical alternative for aquaculture farms that do not require large-scale conventional geomembrane installation.

02 / Materials
RPE — Reinforced Polyethylene

Reinforced strength. Engineered for prefabrication.

Typical Construction
UV-Stabilised PE Layer

High-Strength Woven HDPE Reinforcement

UV-Stabilised PE Layer

RPE is a multi-layer reinforced polyethylene liner designed to combine high mechanical strength with flexibility for prefabricated pond applications.

A high-strength woven HDPE reinforcement forms the structural core, while LDPE or LLDPE outer layers on both sides provide waterproofing, flexibility and surface protection. Depending on the application requirements, the outer polyethylene layers can be selected to provide the required balance of flexibility, durability and fabrication performance. UV stabilizers are incorporated into the liner formulation to improve resistance against prolonged sunlight exposure and outdoor ageing.

The reinforced construction provides excellent tensile and tear resistance while allowing large liner panels to be factory welded and fabricated to the required pond dimensions.

For aquaculture applications, ANVIX™ RPE liners can be supplied in different weights, thicknesses and specifications according to pond size, site conditions and required performance.

LLDPE — Linear Low-Density Polyethylene

Flexible. Conformable. Built around the pond.

LLDPE is a flexible polyethylene geomembrane produced without a woven reinforcement layer. Its homogeneous structure provides excellent elongation and flexibility, allowing the liner to conform closely to pond bases, slopes, corners and irregular ground profiles.

Compared with reinforced polyethylene, LLDPE relies on the properties and thickness of the polymer membrane itself rather than an internal woven reinforcement. Its higher elongation makes it particularly suitable where ground movement, settlement or complex pond geometry requires greater liner flexibility.

ANVIX™ LLDPE prefabricated liners can be supplied in different thicknesses and dimensions according to pond design and application requirements.

03 / The Difference

The difference.

Traditional on-site geomembrane installation with crane and forklift
Traditional / On-site
Conventional Roll Installation
≈ 6,000 m²
  • multiple membrane rolls
  • on-site welding
  • several workers
  • forklift / crane handling
ANVIX prefabricated pond liner unfolded on site with folded panels on pallet
ANVIX™ Prefabricated
ANVIX™ Prefabricated Pond Liner
≈ 300–500 m²
  • one prefabricated panel
  • factory welded
  • delivered ready to unfold
  • few workers / no specialist welding contractor
02 / Technical Properties

Technical properties.

01
Material Structure

Reinforced polyethylene composite*

02
Water Impermeability

Designed to provide a continuous impermeable barrier for aquaculture ponds.

03
Puncture & Tear Resistance

Reinforced construction provides resistance against puncture and tearing during handling and service.

04
Flexibility

Flexible construction allows the liner to conform to pond floors, slopes and profiles.

05
UV & Weather Resistance

Designed for prolonged outdoor exposure and aquaculture environments.

06
Weldability

Heat-weldable construction enables strong factory-fabricated seams.

* Specific material construction and specification depend on the selected product grade and pond requirements.

03 / Key Advantages

Why choose ANVIX Prefab for your pond?

01
Factory Prefabricated

Fabricated and welded before delivery to reduce fabrication work at the farm.

02
Ready to Install

Delivered as a finished or preconfigured liner for simplified site deployment.

03
Reduced On-Site Seaming

Minimises dependence on specialised field-welding equipment and crews.

04
Faster Installation

Less on-site fabrication helps shorten the overall installation process.

05
Simplified Handling

Controlled folding and palletised delivery make positioning and deployment easier.

06
Custom to Pond Dimensions

Fabricated according to individual pond dimensions rather than being limited to standard roll widths.

07
Replaceable Design

Replace the liner without replacing the whole tank structure.

08
Heat & Weather Resistance

Built to perform in outdoor aquaculture conditions.

Recommended ranges are indicative only. Final liner configuration depends on pond depth, side slopes, finished liner area, material specification, total liner weight and site handling conditions. These are ANVIX™ recommended ranges for practical prefabrication, transport and deployment — not maximum manufacturing limits.

The concept is not the largest liner possible.

Larger liners can be factory fabricated, but depending on finished weight and site conditions they may require multiple prefabricated panels, heavier handling equipment or limited field seaming. Our recommended ranges keep transport, handling and deployment practical.

Manageable Size + Factory Fabrication + Reduced Field Seaming + Simplified Deployment
05 / Material Comparison

RPE vs LLDPE.

Choosing between RPE and LLDPE depends on site conditions, ground stability and the specific demands of the containment application.
